Job Description

Location – London Bridge Hospital

Hours - 37.5 hours per week

About the Role

London Bridge hospital have an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician to join their team. As a Technician, you will contribute to the efficient day-to-day running of the dispensary, working under the direct supervision of the Head Pharmacy Technician.


In this role, you will be responsible for purchasing all pharmaceuticals (including medical gases) and non-pharmaceutical stock for use across the London Bridge Hospital campus.  You will also be responsible for helping manage the Pharmacy IT systems; including Omnicell, Meditech, Facility Scheduler, Webnow, SMART, Drug Alert spreadsheet.


Skills & Experience

  • Pharmacy NVQ3, BTEC or equivalent
  • Registration with General Pharmaceutical Council
  • Additional specialist training/knowledge, as appropriate
  • Good spoken and written English
  • Computer literate
  • Knowledge of relevant hospital policies and procedures
